How do I permanently rotate a PDF and save it?
Viewers often only flip pages on screen. Here, the rotation you choose is written into the page data of the saved copy, so any PDF reader — and any printer — opens it the right way up.
Can I rotate several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add up to 20 files, use “apply to all” for one shared turn, or set each file separately. Results download individually or as one ZIP.
Will rotating re-compress or re-encode my pages?
No. Rotation rewrites the orientation flag; page content is not re-encoded, so scan quality is unchanged. The saved copy's file size can differ slightly from the original because the file is rewritten by the PDF library.
Why is my digitally signed PDF rejected?
Saving a rotated copy rewrites file bytes, which would invalidate a digital signature. The tool detects signatures and refuses those files so the signed original stays valid. The same applies to password-protected files.
Does rotating fix pages that are upside down in a scan?
If the page image itself is stored upside down without a rotation flag, a 180° turn of the page sets it right. What rotation cannot do is re-photograph content — but flag-level fixes cover the vast majority of sideways scanner output.
